Punches

This card is fun and fast to do just by using the punches. I love all the things I can do with my spiral punch. I also used the jumbo wheel Whimsy on this project --if you don't have yours, TODAY is the last day of the free wheelin' promo.

Haven't stamped the past few days...finishing up a few other projects --crafty though! Finished a shirt that I was sewing, for myself and I made my own T-shirt shopping bag --which maybe I'll need to stamp. I'll post it if I stamp it, otherwise click HERE to see it. The weather has been perfect, so we have spent most of our days outside, while we can before the misquotes invade and the heat becomes smothering. Check back soon, I'll be stamping and sharing in no time.

Coasting into the weekend

A bit of a play on words but one last project to get your weekend started. Here are some coasters I made, a great gift, coffee table addition, or even create your own back splash when remodeling. Make sure you use pigment, or craft ink and heat set. I added the rub ons after it was heat set.

Happy Bird-Day

I needed a birthday card for my grandparents this week, I guess I could have sent one in my box of cards, but I had my stuff out and made a new one. Plus I haven't had a chance to do too much with this set yet, a perfect opportunity.

It appears that I have done lots of coloring with my markers too. Isn't it funny how we'll go in spurts. I guess I'm all about my markers at the moment. CJ helped choose the bird colors, maybe it is all the time I spend coloring with the girls that I longed for my grown up markers ;)

Hello!

As most of the country is thawing out and enjoying spring, we have been having warm temps, really, about the same as that 1 week of real summer that Grand Forks gets each year. So I was in the mood for some summer cards. Enjoy, I still have glitter everywhere after these two cards.

Earth Day

Recycle your scraps of paper, ribbon or maybe emptied food jars to create a unique gift, that is reusing items you have on hand. Unfortunately, I don't have a project that I have done this with recently to show you, but check back soon and I hope to have one completed.
I told you I have done some stamping, and this is what you get, a week's worth of ideas and projects! I hope you enjoy them, and I have been busy finishing up a few more in spare time (and I don't really have much of that lately).

Here is a quick gift card holder I made for Mother's day. Using Chocolate Chip Pocket Notes and Pun Fun, I quickly colored in using my markers for a personal touch. I have a few more ideas floating around in my head, so keep a look out for more Mother Day creations.

watercoloring

I love to watercolor, I love the way it looks and I love how easy it can be. I made a bunch of cards just using Elegant Eggplant classic ink and an aqua painter. It was fast and is a great way to make a bunch of cards to have on hand.

Seriously....yes

I did some serious stamping today.
Okay, maybe it wasn't that serious, it was a lot of fun actually.

Rub ons

I like our new rub ons. At first I wasn't sold, then during SAB I chose to get the rub ons to try them out. I love how easy they are to use, how many we get on a sheet and the great element they add to projects. Besides cards, as shown above, you can use them on glass, ribbon, scrapbook pages and more! Another great thing, they don't take up much room when you have to pack up and move your craft room as often as I do, and they don't weigh much.
